| Not far away, Fuuma spends the evening practicing basketball. He is surprised by the sudden appearance of Kamui, who is obviously feeling well again. Kamui has come to thank Fuuma for his care the previous night. Fuuma replies that it was not a problem. He was keeping the promise he made with Kamui in the park those six years before. Kamui answers that he has forgotten about that promise, and Fuuma should forget it too. As Fuuma stares at Kamui stunned, the two are suddenly overcome with the vision of themselves fighting above Tokyo Tower, each possessing a Holy Sword. |
| As Kyougo sits in meditation, the nearby candles are snuffed by wind. Sensing a presence that is not Kamui, Kyougo takes the sword in hand and demands to know what the intruder wants. From the darkness outside Nataku appears. |
| Kyougo faces off against Nataku, but is no match and is seriously wounded. From the court, Kamui and Fuuma are shocked to see lightening strike close to the shrine. Sensing something is wrong, the two quickly hurry off. At the shrine, Nataku leaves the injured Kyougo and takes the Holy Sword with it. |
| Running across the rooftops, Kamui is intercepted by Sorata who points at Nataku in the distant sky. Kamui is shocked to see Nataku carrying the Sword. Arriving at the shrine Fuuma finds Kotori bent over their father. She yells for Fuuma to quickly call an ambulance. In pursuit of Nataku, Kamui and Sorata split up to attack from two sides at once. |
