| Outside Fuuma is still practicing basketball. After making a basket he is startled by the sound of someone falling against the fence. He goes to investigate and is surprised to see that not only is it Kamui, but also that he is really beat up. He tries to help but Kamui brushes him off and walks away. Above them, Sorata moans about how complicated things are getting. |
| Beneath the Diet building, in Hinoto's chambers, Saiki protests to Hinoto that someone who has no regard for human life cannot be the Kamui they are looking for. Hinoto nods in understanding and asks Saiki to have his wounds tended to. She then turns to Arashi who asks Hinoto what she saw in her dream. Hinoto answers "the end of the world" and then describes to Arashi all her meetings with Kamui so far. |
| As Arashi prepares to leave Hinoto asks her to please watch over Kamui. As she leaves the building, startling nearby officials and business men, she muses over Hinoto's visions and the fact that her predictions have never been wrong. |
| Outside his apartment Kamui nearly collapses but manages to make it inside. From a nearby rooftop, Sorata wonders about all the people who have contacted Kamui thus far and what he has seen. As he talks to himself he notices a man standing at the top of a nearby pine tree. |
